Amazon Haul has no published store-wide purchase limit. The firm rules are about price and promotions: every item costs $20 or less, orders under $25 pay a $3.99 shipping fee, and deal items such as 1-cent flash deals carry per-customer caps, usually one to three units. A “limit reached” message means you have hit that deal’s cap.
Key takeaways
- Price cap: Haul items are $20 or less, with most under $10.
- No general order-size, order-value or per-day limit has been published by Amazon.
- Per-customer limits apply to specific promotions; reported caps include 1, 2 and 3 per customer or account.
- Free shipping starts at $25; Amazon’s help page lists a $3.99 fee per order below the minimum.
- Automatic discounts: 5% off $50+, 10% off $75+.
- Returns: free within 15 days for eligible items over $3; items $3 or less are final sale.
- Haul has its own cart, is not Prime eligible and is not available to Amazon Business accounts.
Last checked November 2026. Amazon changes Haul terms during sales events, so treat the deal tile, the cart and the checkout screen as the final word on any order.
Is there an Amazon Haul purchase limit?
Amazon has not published a store-wide cap on how many Haul items you can buy or how large a Haul order can be. Amazon’s Haul help page covers the cart, shipping fee, delivery, Prime, returns and the Typical Price, and it lists no maximum order value or item count. Amazon’s Haul announcements do not mention one either.
What does exist are item-level limits tied to promotions. Deal reports show Haul capping 1-cent flash deals at one, then three, per account, a 2-dollar-and-under flash sale at two items per customer, and a 5-cent event at one. Those caps are set per promotion and change from sale to sale. For how the penny events work in general, see our guide to Amazon Haul 1 cent deals.

What “limit reached” and “limit 3 per customer” mean
A per-customer limit caps how many units of a promoted item one customer or account can buy. On Haul, these caps show up on the deal tile or in the deal description, and the cart is where they are enforced: if you try to add more than the allowed quantity, the cart will not take it. That message is not an error; it simply means the promotion’s cap has been reached.
| Reported | Promotion | Limit | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oct and Nov 2025 updates | 1-cent flash deals | 3 per account (earlier 1 per account) | a deal-tracking site |
| Nov 4, 2026 | Flash sale on items $2 and under | 2 items per customer | a deal-tracking site |
| Nov 5, 2026 | 5-cent deals | 1 per customer | a coupon blog |
The same 1-cent promotion has run with different caps at different times, which is why “limit 3 per customer” on one event can become “limit 1” on the next. Read the limit on the live deal rather than relying on an old screenshot. Short events are logged on our Haul flash deals page.
Is there a per-day or per-order limit on Amazon Haul?
Not one that Amazon has published. We could not find any official statement of a maximum number of Haul orders per day, a maximum order value or a unit cap on regular, non-promotional items. Promotional caps are written per customer or per account, so a second order on the same account should not reset them.
Is there any way to avoid the Amazon Haul shipping limit?
The “shipping limit” people search for is the $25 free-shipping minimum. There is no exemption for Prime members, because Haul orders are not Prime eligible, and there is no code that removes it. The honest options are simple:
- Reach $25 with things you actually need. Combine several small household needs into one Haul order instead of placing several small ones.
- Do the math before padding. If your cart is a few dollars short, adding an item you would not otherwise buy can cost more than the $3.99 fee itself.
- Accept the fee for a single urgent item. Below the minimum, the fee is charged once per order, not per item.
- Do not try to get around per-customer caps with extra accounts. Limits are set per customer or account, and enforcing promotion terms is Amazon’s call.
How the shipping threshold fits with delivery times is on our Amazon Haul shipping time page.
Price rules: the $20 ceiling and Typical Price
When Amazon launched Haul as a US beta in November 2024, GeekWire reported that items were priced $20 or less, with most at $10 or less. That ceiling is the core Haul rule, and Reviewed’s August 2026 explainer still describes everything in the store as $20 or less. In its Q2 2026 earnings remarks, Amazon said US Haul now offers more than six million items under $10, after expanding selection nearly 20 times since launch. Haul also shows a struck-through Typical Price, which Amazon’s help page defines as the median price customers paid in Haul over the past 90 days, excluding limited-time promotions. If you are new to the store, see what Amazon Haul is.
Cart and checkout rules
Amazon’s help page says Haul items stay in a separate Haul cart, opened from the cart icon inside the store. A Haul order is therefore a separate checkout from a regular Amazon order, and items in your main cart do not count toward Haul’s $25 threshold or its discount tiers. Amazon’s June 2026 post says the Haul cart syncs with your regular Amazon.com cart, without saying more. Our Amazon Haul cart guide walks through finding the cart and checking out.
Volume discount tiers
Amazon’s June 2026 Haul post lists 5% off orders of $50 or more and 10% off orders of $75 or more. They apply automatically and are thresholds, not codes. The full breakdown, with cart examples, is on Amazon Haul discounts. Haul’s standing savings are threshold-based; we do not list codes we cannot verify, and our Amazon Haul promo code page tracks what Amazon has actually announced.
Return limits and the $3 threshold
Amazon’s help page states that eligible Haul items priced over $3 can be returned free within 15 days of delivery, and items must be new, unused and unaltered. Final-sale items priced at $3 or less cannot be returned or refunded. Note the exact wording: an item at exactly $3 is final sale, since the free-return rule applies to items over $3. Purchases are still backed by the A-to-z Guarantee. The step-by-step process is on the Amazon Haul return policy page.
Account, Prime and payment rules
You need a standard Amazon account to shop Haul. Prime membership is not required, and Prime members get no faster delivery or lower shipping threshold, because Haul orders are not Prime eligible; our is Amazon Haul part of Prime explainer goes deeper. The help page says Haul is not available to Amazon Business customers for now, so business buyers need a personal account. Amazon has not published a separate Haul payment policy; the methods offered at the Haul checkout are the ones that apply.
Haul works in an updated Amazon Shopping app, on mobile web and on desktop at amazon.com/haul; older app versions may not support it. If the store will not load, see how to access Amazon Haul, and if it loads but misbehaves, our Haul not working checklist lists fixes.
What we could not confirm
Amazon has not stated publicly a maximum number of Haul orders per day, a maximum order value, a fixed cap on units for regular items, or whether US Haul ships to addresses outside the United States. We will update this page if Amazon publishes any of these rules.
What changed in November 2026
Early November 2026 brought two short Haul promotions with tight caps: a flash sale on items $2 and under limited to two per customer (reported November 4) and 5-cent deals limited to one (reported November 5). The standing rules did not change: $25 free shipping, the $3.99 fee below the minimum, 5% and 10% tiers, and the $3 return threshold.
How we checked this page
In November 2026 we checked Amazon’s Haul help page, Amazon’s June 2026 Haul post and Q2 2026 earnings remarks, GeekWire’s launch coverage and three dated deal reports. AmazonHaul Guide has no first-hand order log yet; when we add one, we will record any limit messages we see with dates. For the full guide, start at the AmazonHaul Guide home page.

Amazon Haul Purchase Limit: FAQ
Does Amazon Haul have a purchase limit?
Amazon has not published a store-wide limit on how many Haul items or orders you can buy. Limits apply to specific promotional items instead. Deal reports show 1-cent flash deals capped at one and later three per account, a 2-dollar-and-under flash sale capped at two per customer, and 5-cent deals capped at one. Each promotion sets its own cap.
What does ‘limit reached’ mean on Amazon Haul?
It means you already have the maximum quantity a promotion allows for one customer or account. The cart enforces the cap, so it will not accept more units of that deal item. It is not a technical error. Regular-priced Haul items have no published per-customer limit, so the message only appears on promoted deals with a stated cap.
Is there a maximum order amount on Amazon Haul?
No maximum order value appears on Amazon’s Haul help page or in its Haul announcements. The rules that matter for larger baskets are thresholds: free shipping from $25, then automatic discounts of 5% at $50 and 10% at $75. Each individual item must still be priced at $20 or less to be sold in Haul.
Is there any way to avoid the Amazon Haul shipping fee?
The only built-in way is to reach $25 in your Haul cart, which makes shipping free. Prime does not waive it, because Haul orders are not Prime eligible, and no code removes it. Below the minimum, Amazon’s help page lists a $3.99 fee per order. If you are only a little short, compare the fee with what extra items would cost.
Can I buy more than the limit with a second order?
Generally no. Reported Haul promotion caps are written per customer or per account, not per order, so a second order on the same account does not reset them. Opening extra accounts to get around a promotion limit is a workaround we do not recommend, since enforcing promotion terms is up to Amazon.
Can Amazon Business accounts shop Haul?
Not at the moment. Amazon’s Haul help page says Haul is not available to Amazon Business customers for now. If you switch between business and personal profiles, make sure your personal Amazon account is active before shopping Haul. Prime is not required; any standard Amazon account can use the store.
