What Is Amazon Haul? The $20-and-Under Store, Explained

Amazon Haul is a separate storefront inside Amazon where everything costs $20 or less and most items are under $10. It is Amazon’s answer to Temu and Shein: the same ultra-cheap, mostly China-made goods, but bought through your normal Amazon account with Amazon’s returns and A-to-z Guarantee. The trade-off is speed: Haul orders take one to two weeks, not two days.

How Amazon Haul is different from regular Amazon

Regular Amazon is built around speed: Prime, same-day delivery, warehouses near you. Haul is built around price. Items are consolidated and shipped in batches from facilities abroad, mostly in China, which is why a $2.99 phone case can exist at all and why it takes a week or two to show up. Haul has its own browsing, search and checkout screens inside the Amazon app, but it uses your existing Amazon account, address book and payment methods, and the Haul cart syncs with your regular Amazon cart.

Two things Haul does not have: customer reviews on most listings, and Prime shipping speed. Prime members can shop Haul, but Prime’s two-day delivery does not apply to Haul orders. See Does Amazon Haul work with Prime?

What people actually buy on Haul

The sweet spot is anything where the cost of a miss is low: phone cases and cables, kitchen gadgets, storage and organizers, jewelry and hair accessories, stickers and craft supplies, seasonal decor, socks and basics. Clothing and shoes are popular but riskier because sizing is inconsistent and 15 days is a short window for an exchange. We do not recommend Haul for anything safety-critical: children’s sleepwear, electrical items you leave plugged in, or anything you need before a fixed date.

A short history

  • November 2024: Haul launches in the US inside the Amazon Shopping app, mobile-only beta, everything $20 or less.
  • 2025: Haul expands to the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia and Japan; “Amazon Bazaar” launches in Mexico, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and a standalone Bazaar app in 14 more markets.
  • August 29 2025: The US de minimis exemption (duty-free entry for shipments under $800) is suspended, raising costs for every cross-border low-price retailer including Haul, Temu and Shein.
  • November 10 2025: Amazon removes the beta label globally, says Haul has over one million items under $10 and that selection has grown nearly 400% since launch.
  • June 2026: Haul is available on desktop at amazon.com/haul and gets its own Prime Day deals section.
  • July 30 2026: Andy Jassy tells investors Haul’s US ultra-low-price selection has grown nearly 20x since launch, with more than six million items under $10.

Should you use it?

Use Haul when you want Temu-level prices with Amazon-level account protection and you can wait two weeks. Skip it when you need the item fast, when sizing matters and you cannot afford a return hassle, or when a few dollars more on regular Amazon buys a reviewed, branded version.
