Is Amazon Haul Legit? What Our Orders Show (2026)

Yes, Amazon Haul is legit. It is owned and operated by Amazon.com, Inc., you pay through your normal Amazon account, and every order is covered by Amazon’s A-to-z Guarantee. The honest caveats are about the products, not the store: quality is hit-and-miss, most listings have no customer reviews, and delivery takes one to two weeks. Here is how to shop it safely, and what our own orders showed.

Why it is safe to pay

  • It is Amazon. Haul lives inside the Amazon Shopping app and at amazon.com/haul. There is no separate account, app login or payment processor. If a site asks you to create a new account or pay outside Amazon to shop “Amazon Haul”, it is not Amazon Haul.
  • A-to-z Guarantee. If an item never arrives or is materially not as described, Amazon refunds you under the same guarantee that covers third-party sellers on the main site.
  • Free returns. Eligible items can be returned free within 15 days of delivery. Items priced $3 or less are final sale, so treat those as disposable.
  • Your data stays with Amazon. Unlike a brand-new app from an unknown company, Haul does not ask for any permissions or data you have not already given Amazon.

Where the risk actually is

Haul sells mostly unbranded goods from Chinese manufacturers and traders at very thin margins. That means three real risks: the item may be lower quality than the photo suggests, sizing on clothes and shoes can be far off, and a small share of items arrive damaged in the consolidated shipment. None of that is a scam, but it changes how you should shop. Our rule: buy on Haul when a miss costs you a few dollars and a return trip, not when it costs you a ruined gift or a safety problem.

Our order log

We place Amazon Haul orders to US addresses every week and record the order date, promised window, actual delivery date, and a one-line verdict on each item. The log is public on the Delivery Tracker. First batch published in November 2026; this page is updated as the log grows.

Six rules for shopping Haul safely

  1. Stay inside the Amazon app or amazon.com/haul. Never pay for “Haul” items anywhere else.
  2. Treat anything $3 or less as non-returnable, because it is.
  3. For clothes and shoes, order from Haul only when the size chart is in inches or centimeters and you can measure; otherwise buy the reviewed version on regular Amazon.
  4. Group your order to $25 for free shipping and consider $50 for the 5% discount, but do not add filler you will not use.
  5. Photograph anything that arrives damaged on the day it arrives and start the return in the app within 15 days.
  6. Skip Haul for electrical items that stay plugged in, children’s sleepwear, car seats, helmets or anything with a safety certification you cannot verify.

Common “scam” questions, answered

Is Amazon Haul really owned by Amazon?

Yes. Amazon announced Haul in November 2024 and runs it inside the Amazon Shopping app and at amazon.com/haul. It uses your existing Amazon account, addresses and payment methods.

Why are there no reviews on Amazon Haul items?

Most Haul listings are new, unbranded items without the review history that main-site listings build up over years. That is the main reason we test items ourselves and publish the results.

Will I be charged import fees on Amazon Haul?

No separate import charge is shown or billed on Haul orders. Since the US de minimis exemption ended in August 2025, any duties are built into the price you see at checkout.

What if my Amazon Haul order never arrives?

Track it in Your Orders. If it is past the promised window, contact Amazon customer service; Haul orders are covered by the A-to-z Guarantee, which refunds non-delivery.
