Amazon Haul Australia vs the US store
Australia’s Haul works like the US version but in Australian dollars, with its own thresholds. This guide is US-focused, so the comparison matters if you read our other pages.
| Term | Australia (amazon.com.au) | United States (amazon.com) |
|---|---|---|
| Launch | 13 August 2025 (beta) | 13 November 2024 (beta) |
| Price cap | A$25 or less | US$20 or less |
| Free delivery | Orders over A$40 (limited-time launch offer) | Orders of US$25 or more |
| Fee below threshold | A$11.99 (at launch) | US$3.99 |
| Order discounts | 5% off over A$65; 10% off over A$100 (at launch) | 5% off US$50+; 10% off US$75+ |
| Delivery time | Two weeks or less | Typically one to two weeks |
| Returns | Change-of-mind within 15 days of receipt | Free within 15 days on eligible items over US$3 |
US figures come from Amazon’s US Haul announcement. Our US pages on Haul delivery times and Haul discounts use the US numbers, not Australia’s.
When did Amazon Haul launch in Australia?
Amazon Australia’s launch announcement is dated 13 August 2025. Haul opened in beta to select customers who updated the Amazon Shopping app, with the rest to follow “over the coming days.” Amazon said Haul had already launched in the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, Germany, the UAE and Mexico. Trade press such as Inside Retail reported the same terms the next day and noted that Haul products go through quality checks.
In November 2025, Amazon removed the “beta” label globally and said Haul was in 25 countries and regions. The full list is on our Amazon Haul countries page.
Amazon Haul Australia shipping
At launch, Amazon said delivery was free on orders over A$40 for a limited time, with an A$11.99 fee on smaller orders, and that orders typically arrive in two weeks or less. Amazon’s November 2025 Australian post repeated the two-week window but did not restate the threshold or the fee. We could not confirm whether the A$40 offer still applies in November 2026, so check the delivery line in your Haul basket before you pay.
- Combine items. A single Haul basket is the simplest way to clear the threshold.
- Allow time. With a window of up to two weeks, order gifts well ahead of the date you need them.
- Haul is separate. Amazon Australia says Haul has its own search, basket and checkout, so items in your main Amazon basket do not count toward Haul thresholds.
Discounts and events on Amazon Haul Australia
At launch, Amazon Australia listed 5% off orders over A$65 and 10% off orders over A$100, plus a limited-time 60% off across all products in the first two weeks. Australia has since had its own Haul events:
| Event | Dates | What Amazon Australia announced |
|---|---|---|
| Launch offer | From 13 August 2025 | 60% off all products for a limited time, applied at checkout |
| Haul Frenzy | 10-11 November 2025 | A$1 items (limit 3 per customer); A$10 off on day one and A$11 off on day two with one-use codes, no minimum spend (both expired) |
| Prime Day | 7-13 July 2026 | Haul’s first Prime Day: an extra 25% off everything for Prime members, applied automatically |

How to access Amazon Haul in Australia
- Update the Amazon Shopping app and sign in with your amazon.com.au account.
- Search Haul in the search bar, or select Amazon Haul from the main menu icon.
- In a mobile browser, go to amazon.com.au/haul, the link Amazon Australia gives in its November 2025 post.
Amazon Australia’s posts mention the app and mobile browser but not desktop access. The routes mirror the US ones in our guides to accessing Amazon Haul and the Amazon Haul app.
Paying for Haul in Australia
Amazon’s Australian Haul posts do not list payment methods. Separately, B&T reported on 3 September 2025 that Afterpay became available on amazon.com.au and the Amazon AU app, with payments split into four interest-free instalments. Whether Afterpay appears in the Haul checkout was not stated, so check the payment step. US payment rules are on our Haul gift cards and payment page.
Returns on Amazon Haul Australia
Amazon Australia says change-of-mind returns are accepted within 15 days of receipt, provided the change-of-mind conditions are met. Its posts do not mention a low-price final-sale cut-off like the US store’s US$3 rule, so read the returns section on each order. The US rules are on our Haul return policy page.
Can Australians shop the US Amazon Haul?
Use amazon.com.au/haul instead. The US store at amazon.com/haul prices items in US dollars with US thresholds and is built for US customers, while the Australian store has local prices, delivery and returns. Shoppers elsewhere can compare the UK and Canada versions.
What changed in November 2026: no new Amazon Australia Haul announcement since the July 2026 Prime Day post was found. The A$40 free-delivery offer was described as limited-time at launch, and we could not confirm its current status.
How we checked this page
In November 2026 we read About Amazon Australia’s Haul launch post (13 August 2025), its November 2025 Haul Frenzy post and its July 2026 Prime Day announcement, plus Inside Retail’s launch report and B&T’s Afterpay report. Amazon’s Australian help pages blocked automated reading, so we did not quote them. The site has no first-hand order log yet. For the US guide, start at the AmazonHaul Guide home page.

Amazon Haul Australia: FAQ
Is Amazon Haul available in Australia?
Yes. Amazon Australia launched Haul as a beta on 13 August 2025, first to select customers who updated the Amazon Shopping app and then to everyone over the following days. In November 2025 Amazon removed the beta label globally. Australians can open it by searching Haul in the Amazon Shopping app, from the main menu, or at amazon.com.au/haul in a mobile browser.
How much is Amazon Haul shipping in Australia?
At launch, Amazon Australia said delivery was free on Haul orders over A$40 for a limited time, with an A$11.99 fee on orders below that. Later Amazon posts did not restate those figures, and we could not confirm the current threshold in November 2026. Check the delivery line in your Haul basket, which shows the fee that applies to your order.
How long does Amazon Haul take to deliver in Australia?
Amazon Australia says Haul orders typically arrive in two weeks or less, both in its August 2025 launch post and its November 2025 Haul Frenzy post. That is slower than standard Amazon Australia delivery. For gifts or anything time-sensitive, order early and read the delivery estimate at checkout before you pay, since times vary by address.
What is the Amazon Haul price limit in Australia?
Amazon Australia’s launch post described products for less than A$25, and its November 2025 post said all items are priced A$25 or less, with hundreds of thousands at A$10 and under and some as low as A$1. The US store’s cap is lower, at US$20, so prices and limits on US guides do not apply to amazon.com.au.
Does Amazon Haul Australia have discounts or promo codes?
At launch Amazon Australia listed 5% off orders over A$65 and 10% off orders over A$100. It has also run events: a launch offer of 60% off, a November 2025 Haul Frenzy with A$1 items and one-day A$10 and A$11 off codes that have since expired, and an extra 25% off for Prime members during Prime Day, 7-13 July 2026.
Can I return Amazon Haul items in Australia?
Yes, within limits. Amazon Australia says change-of-mind returns are accepted within 15 days of receipt, provided the change-of-mind conditions are met. Its Haul posts do not describe a low-price final-sale rule like the US store’s, so check the returns details on each order in Your Orders. Faulty or incorrect items follow Amazon Australia’s standard customer service process.
