Before you buy the WEMATE Reading Journal: quick tips
- Try your favorite pen on a back page first, since heavy gel or fountain inks behave differently on any paper.
- Think about whether you write more short notes or long reflections, because the reviews split 60 short to 20 long.
- A5 is portable but not pocket-size, so make sure it fits the bag you usually carry books in.
- If you are gifting it, consider adding a pen the reader likes, since no pen is listed as included.

WEMATE Reading Journal coupon & promo code FAQ
How many books can I review in the WEMATE journal?
There is space for 80 book reviews in total. Sixty are short reviews that take two pages each, and twenty are long reviews spread across four pages each, so you can match the format to how much you have to say about a particular book.
Is the journal dated?
No, it is undated. You can begin on any day of the year without wasting pages, and the monthly plan section can be filled in whenever you start. That makes it a good choice if you pick up a reading goal partway through the year.
What size is it?
It is A5, which works out to 8.5 by 5.8 inches. That is big enough for comfortable handwriting yet still easy to carry, and the linen hardcover gives the pages some protection when you toss the journal in a bag with your current read.
Will pens bleed through the pages?
WEMATE uses thick 100 gsm paper and says it is designed to avoid bleed-through and smudging. Results can still vary with very wet inks, so if you use fountain pens or heavy markers, try them on a back page before writing your first review.
Is 8Q2NJIKO still working?
It was active when we last checked on Oct 23, 2026. Seller codes usually run 24–72 hours or until a set number of uses is gone, so apply it soon. Our team marks a code as ended as soon as members report it.
Is there a WEMATE Reading Journal coupon or discount code?
Yes – 8Q2NJIKO is the current Amazon promo code (40% off). Amazon calls it a promotion code; it works the same way as a coupon or discount code at checkout.
Do I need Amazon Prime to use it?
No. Promo codes work for any Amazon account unless the promotion box on the product page says Prime-only.
Why didn't the code apply?
Usually a different size or color than the one the code covers, a one-per-account limit, or the code sold out. See all the fixes.
