Who should buy it (and who should skip it)
This set suits beginners learning American mahjong, friends starting a regular game night, and players who want a smaller travel set to keep in the car or a suitcase. The pink tiles also make it a fun gift. Experienced players who prefer full-size tiles, traditional coloring or a hard carrying case may want a different set.
Before you buy the TBMax American Mahjong Set: quick tips
- Confirm whether racks and pushers are among the accessories, since the listing does not name each item.
- Check whether a scoring card is included, because American mahjong uses an annual card from the National Mah Jongg League.
- Compare the 1.2-inch tile size with your current set if you plan to mix pieces or use existing racks.

TBMax American Mahjong Set coupon & promo code FAQ
How many tiles come in the TBMax set?
The listing states 166 tiles, made for American-style play. It is a good idea to count and sort them when the set arrives so you can spot anything missing before your first game with friends.
What are the tiles made of?
The tiles are melamine and measure 1.2 inches. Melamine is a hard plastic commonly used for mahjong tiles because it handles frequent shuffling well, and the smaller size keeps the overall set compact for travel.
Is this a good set for beginners?
The seller positions it for beginners and travel. A full tile count, a mat and a carrying bag cover the basics for learning, though new players should also make sure they have a current-year American mahjong card showing the valid hands.
How do I use the TBMax promo code?
Add the set to your cart and type QOSTI3A8 into the promo code field when you check out on Amazon. The 40% discount should apply before payment, so look over the total and re-enter the code if it does not show.
Is QOSTI3A8 still working?
It was active when we last checked on Oct 23, 2026. Seller codes usually run 24–72 hours or until a set number of uses is gone, so apply it soon. Our team marks a code as ended as soon as members report it.
Is there a TBMax American Mahjong Set coupon or discount code?
Yes – QOSTI3A8 is the current Amazon promo code (40% off). Amazon calls it a promotion code; it works the same way as a coupon or discount code at checkout.
Do I need Amazon Prime to use it?
No. Promo codes work for any Amazon account unless the promotion box on the product page says Prime-only.
Why didn't the code apply?
Usually a different size or color than the one the code covers, a one-per-account limit, or the code sold out. See all the fixes.
