Amazon listing: Tweed Twinkles Bulky Acrylic Yarn, 2-Pack (400Yds/400G), Dark Brown | #5 Weight Chunky Tweed Yarn for Crocheting with Free Patterns - Chunky Acrylic Yarn for Knitting with Flecks
KnitPal's Tweed Twinkles Bulky Acrylic Yarn comes as a two-cake pack in Dark Brown, and Amazon promo code ELLACHXL15 takes 15% off at checkout. Each pack totals 400 yards and 400 grams, split across two 200-yard balls.
The fiber mix is mostly acrylic at 85%, with 10% terylene and 5% mohair, giving a soft, squishy hand with a gentle sheen from the loose ply. Small flecks of contrasting tweed run through the dark brown base. It is a bulky #5 weight at 7 wraps per inch, and KnitPal suggests US 9 to 11 needles or a K-10.5 to M-13 hook. Because the acrylic is machine washable, finished pieces cope with frequent laundering, and three free crochet and knitting patterns, including a stroller blanket, arrive by email within three days.
This KnitPal Tweed Twinkles Bulky Acrylic Yarn Amazon promo code suits knitters and crocheters planning cozy blankets, scarves or kids' garments. Add the two-pack to your cart, enter ELLACHXL15 in the promo code box, and check for the 15% reduction. It is the KnitPal promo code for October 2026 we have on file for this colorway.

Who should buy it (and who should skip it)
This yarn fits knitters and crocheters who want a soft, washable bulky yarn for fast projects such as throws, hats, scarves and baby blankets, especially if the tweed flecks appeal. Beginners benefit from the clear tool guidance. Skip it if you need an all-natural fiber yarn, want a smooth solid color without flecks, or work mostly in fine or lightweight yarns for detailed lacework.
Before you buy the KnitPal Tweed Twinkles Bulky Acrylic Yarn: quick tips
- Order all the yarn for a project in one go, which makes a consistent shade across cakes more likely.
- Swatch with the suggested needle or hook range first, since loose-ply bulky yarn can knit up differently by hand.
- Compare your pattern's yardage with the 400 yards in each pack before deciding how many packs to buy.
- Watch for the pattern email within three days, and contact KnitPal if it does not arrive.

KnitPal Tweed Twinkles Bulky Acrylic Yarn coupon & promo code FAQ
What does code ELLACHXL15 save on this yarn?
It takes 15% off the KnitPal Tweed Twinkles Bulky two-pack. Put the yarn in your cart, redeem ELLACHXL15 where Amazon asks for a promo code at checkout, and check the discount line before paying. Promo codes can expire without notice, so apply it soon.
What size needles and hooks work with Tweed Twinkles Bulky?
KnitPal recommends US 9 to 11 knitting needles, which is 5.5 to 8 mm, and crochet hooks from K-10.5 to M-13, or 6.5 to 9 mm. Swatch first to fine-tune your gauge for the pattern you are following.
Is this yarn machine washable?
Yes. The acrylic in the blend is machine washable, and KnitPal says the mix with terylene and mohair holds up to regular washing and wear. Check the yarn label for specific temperature and drying settings before the first wash.
How do I get the free patterns?
KnitPal emails three crochet and knitting patterns, including a stroller blanket design, within three days of purchase. If they do not show up in your inbox, reach out to the seller and they will help you get them.
Is ELLACHXL15 still working?

Is there a KnitPal Tweed Twinkles Bulky Acrylic Yarn coupon or discount code?
Yes – ELLACHXL15 is the current Amazon promo code (15% off). Amazon calls it a promotion code; it works the same way as a coupon or discount code at checkout.
Do I need Amazon Prime to use it?
No. Promo codes work for any Amazon account unless the promotion box on the product page says Prime-only.
Why didn't the code apply?
Usually a different size or color than the one the code covers, a one-per-account limit, or the code sold out. See all the fixes.
