Who should buy it (and who should skip it)
This net is for bait anglers, shore fishers and anyone who prefers catching their own bait over buying it. The wrist strap and included repair kit make it practical for regular outings. It is not the right pick if you need a large-radius net for bigger fish or a different mesh size, and beginners may want to watch a tutorial on throwing technique first.

BasicGear® Cast Net coupon & promo code FAQ
What size is the BasicGear cast net?
The title lists a 7 ft radius and a 3/8 inch mesh. That combination is described as suited to bait fish, so confirm it matches the species and water you plan to fish.
Is a repair kit included?
Yes, the title says a repair kit is included, along with a double lead line, a stainless steel swivel and a neoprene wrist strap. Check the Amazon page for any other contents before ordering.
How do I use code SIGNUP5OFF?
Add the net to your cart, go to checkout and type SIGNUP5OFF into the promotion box. The listing shows 5% off, so verify the order summary reflects it before you finalize payment.
Does the code stack with a coupon?
This listing has no clip coupon, so only the code applies. If a coupon box appears later, clip it and enter the code, then compare the totals at checkout to see what actually took effect.
Is SIGNUP5OFF still working?
It was active when we last checked on Oct 28, 2026. Seller codes usually run 24–72 hours or until a set number of uses is gone, so apply it soon. Our team marks a code as ended as soon as members report it.
Is there a BasicGear® Cast Net coupon or discount code?
Yes – SIGNUP5OFF is the current Amazon promo code (20% off). Amazon calls it a promotion code; it works the same way as a coupon or discount code at checkout.
Do I need Amazon Prime to use it?
No. Promo codes work for any Amazon account unless the promotion box on the product page says Prime-only.
Why didn't the code apply?
Usually a different size or color than the one the code covers, a one-per-account limit, or the code sold out. See all the fixes.
