Searches for “Amazon Haul sweepstakes” and “Amazon Haul car giveaway” have grown, but as of October 12, 2026 we could not find any official Amazon announcement of a US Amazon Haul car sweepstakes. What does exist: Haul spin-the-wheel discount games in some European markets, regular Haul deal events, and a long-running wave of fake “car giveaway” posts on social media.
What is real
- Spin-the-wheel discounts (Europe). Amazon has run app-only Haul “spin and win” games in markets such as the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain, where the prize is a percentage off your next Haul order (reported as up to 12–20%).
- Haul deal events. In the US, Amazon has run $1 and 11-cent Haul events (November 10–11, 2025), 1-cent deals limited to a few items per person, and 50% off sitewide on Day 1 of Prime Day 2026.
- Amazon sweepstakes in general. When Amazon runs a sweepstakes, it publishes official rules on amazon.com, states that no purchase is necessary, and never asks for a fee to claim a prize.
Red flags: fake Amazon Haul giveaways
- A social media page or group, not amazon.com, announcing that you won a car or a pallet of Haul items.
- A request to pay “shipping,” “taxes” or a “processing fee” to claim a prize.
- Links to look-alike domains or forms asking for card details, your Amazon password or a one-time code.
- “Comment and share to win” posts from pages created recently. Consumer groups such as Which? and fact-checkers like Snopes have documented this pattern for vehicle giveaways on Facebook.
Rule of thumb: if the prize is announced anywhere except an official amazon.com page with posted rules, assume it is not Amazon. Report the post and do not click.
How to check if an Amazon Haul sweepstakes is official
- Open the Amazon app or amazon.com directly (not a link from a post) and look for the promotion in the Haul storefront or your Amazon notifications.
- Find the official rules page on amazon.com with sponsor name, dates, eligibility and the “no purchase necessary” method of entry.
- Never share your password, a verification code or card details to “claim” a prize.
