Who should buy it (and who should skip it)
These scissors are for pet owners who trim at home, such as those with dogs and cats that need face and paw tidying. The cushioned grip is handy for longer sessions. They are not a replacement for a professional groomer for tricky coats, and anyone nervous about trimming near the eyes should ask a groomer for guidance.
Before you buy the LovinPet Pet Grooming Scissors: quick tips
- Check the blade length against your pet's size, since seven inches is long for tiny faces.
- Hold your pet still and use small snips, keeping your fingers clear of the blades.
- Wipe the blades clean after each use and dry them to avoid rust on the screw.
- Tighten the screw only a little at a time, then test on paper before using it on fur.
